Results and certificate

You can access the results in the test taker portal approximately three weeks (digital TestAS) or approximately four weeks (paper-based TestAS) after the exam. The certificate can be used electronically or be printed as a hard copy.

To do so, log in with your individual access data. You will not be notified separately when the results are available. Both TestAS certificates are available as samples.

In order to register for a TestAS exam and print your TestAS certificate after the exam, you will need your personal access data (user name and password), which you chose during registration. If you have lost this access data, you can have it sent to you again here.

The TestAS certificate has no expiry date.

You can use your access data to log into the participant portal at any time to download and print a new certificate.

If you are applying directly to a university, please enclose your TestAS certificate with your application documents.

If you are using the services of uni-assist, you can either provide your user number or upload your certificate in the uni-assist portal.

The university may check the authenticity of the certificate.

The TestAS certificate is recognised by those German universities that have included TestAS in their admission regulations. The weighting of the TestAS results varies from university to university. Please check with the university or faculty at which you wish to study whether and how TestAS is taken into account in the admission process.

Yes. The certificate provides information about the measured cognitive abilities: the result in the Core Module/Core Test about general study-relevant cognitive abilities and the result in the Subject Module about study-field-specific abilities.

This information can help companies, businesses and other institutions to assess your abilities.

The weighting of the TestAS results varies from university to university. It may be that the results from the Core Module/Core Test and the Subject Module are considered together (averaged) or separately. Please check with the university or faculty to find out how the results are taken into account.

No. If you have taken the test several times, you can access all past certificates in the participant portal. You decide which certificate you use for your application documents.

If you use uni-assist for your applications, you can specify which certificate is displayed in the participant portal for the paper-based TestAS. Only one certificate can be displayed at a time.

You can upload certificates for the digital TestAS yourself to uni-assist. If you wish to exchange an older certificate for a newer one, please inform uni-assist.
